Central Peru is home to a natural jewel that’s sandwiched between the Pacific Ocean and the coastal desert. That being said, the town of Chicama harbors the longest waves in the world, about 2,2-kilometers long, the idyllic setting for lovers of surf. Further divided into seven, very different sections, each of them named, they provide entertainment and fun for every level of surfer, from beginners to professionals.

Best enjoyed between March and November when the northbound currents mingle all sections into a single wave, this is a destination you can’t miss if looking forward to a surfing challenge. And what better way to enjoy while at it than at Chicama Boutique Hotel and Spa?

First of all, you’re guaranteed a heavenly place on which, besides resting, you’ll be able to taste some wonderful local flavors. Moreover, relaxation with a massage at the spa followed by biking and strolling through neat gardens will keep you smiling.
