If you like striking destinations, with mountainous landscapes, and extreme activities, this natural jewel that will make you live a unique adventure, we present the Sótano de Popocatl, or “water that smokes”. Before reaching the Sótano de Popocatl you must walk 1 kilometer, the imposing sound of the waterfall warns you that you have arrived. With its 45 meters in diameter and 60 meters deep, you will be welcomed by the mouth of the Coatl River, which is the one that forms the waterfall, once there, get ready to rappel down to the bottom of the basement, once down you will find a subway lake that is fed by the waterfall and you will also find a cavern of 150 meters long, you will enjoy a unique experience because with the sunlight and the breeze of the waterfall, you will be accompanied by small rainbows that form along the basement.

Suggestions
- Pants, Lycra (not shorts preferably to protect from abrasions and mosquitoes)
- Trekking boots or comfortable walking boots (in case you don’t have them, tennis shoes with non-skid soles)

- Avoid wearing watches, rings, bracelets or necklaces.

- 1 change of clothes and tennis shoes to change (remember that in our Rappel we are going to get wet).

Requirements
- Use of loudspeakers or music is prohibited (important instructions are given during the activity so it is essential to pay attention).
- Long hair must be tied back or with a rubber band to tie it during the rappel.
- Strict punctuality is required, after the start time we will have to start the activity and there are no refunds.
- It is forbidden to consume alcoholic beverages on the trek or before the activities.
- Always listen carefully to the indications provided by the guides, it is a risky activity and all indications are important.
- Do not play or risk in the activity because in case of any mishap the company is not responsible.
- If you have any health condition that may affect you during the adventure, please let us know upon arrival.
- Listen carefully and OBEY the indications and instructions that you will be given to perform the rappel and hike.
