One of its variants, centered in Catalonia, is among the best-known, due to the preeminence a city like Barcelona has. In other words, be ready to live a different kind of culinary experience as you embark on a cycling foodie tour that’ll take you around the Catalan capital. So, don’t wait much longer, and pedal up while enjoying, besides art and history, delicious tapas.

Start at Born Bike Tours’ premises next to the Barceloneta Metro station, and pedal through this former fishermen’s neighborhood. Then, you’ll be guided through safe streets and bicycle lanes, as you’re shown around the city while stopping every now and then for a refreshment or a bite. Afterwards, you’ll bike close to landmarks such as the Parc de la Ciutadella, the Arc de Triomf, El Born, and the Palau de la Música Catalana.

Subsequently, after a brief détente on a tapas bar, hit the road again and enter into Barcelona’s medieval city center, called Barri Gòtic. Once there, you’ll roam through narrow and winding streets as you pass next to the city’s cathedral and beautiful squares such as the Plaça Reial. Moreover, cycle through the Plaça Sant Jaume, home of the Generalitat, and keep going towards the old port, with the sight of the Columbus Monument on your way there.

Let us know, here on #Tripsst! about the experience of moving in a bicycle from a tapas bar to another, as you get to know lovely Barcelona.
